Over the last 12 months, we announced a number
of exciting changes to our services, which have
had a massive impact on both the quantity and the
quality of new members joining the Club. Many of
you have recently seen a significant rise in your
residual incomes - a trend we are keen to see
continue over the course of this year!
We have seen the proportion of new customers applying for
at least four services increase to over 50% for the first time –
more than double the level we were seeing 12 months ago.
As a result, the number of customers leaving us, and our
bad debts, have been falling sharply.
Launch of ‘Gold Status’
That is why we are introducing ‘Gold Status’ - a new way of recognising members who are
taking at least four services from us.
With Gold Status comes an exciting range of additional benefits, which will make gathering new
multi-service customers easier than it has ever been.
Changes to BroadCall, Broadband and Home Phone
We are making it simpler to recommend these services by getting rid of BroadCall and splitting
it into two: ‘Home Phone’ and ‘Broadband’. The new price of our Standard Broadband service
will be just £5.99 per month - with an introductory rate for new members with Gold Status of just
£2.99 per month for the first nine months.
This is a fantastic headline message!
Home Phone is now even more competitive, with all Home Phone customers benefitting from
unlimited free local and national calls at evenings and weekends (including 0845 and 0870), as
well as unlimited free peak calls to other Club members, no matter how many services they are
taking from us. We are also reducing the cost of calling mobiles by around 20%. The monthly
line rental is going up, but will remain substantially cheaper than BT, Virgin and TalkTalk. And
our call charges are around 25% cheaper too!
Changes to ‘Free Global Calls’
‘Free Global Calls’ will no longer be available for new members, although every member with
Gold Status will receive exactly the same benefits, with free Peak Saver, and free calls to 10 top
international destinations.
Improvements to Mobile
We’ve made our Mobile service even more attractive by including voicemail within our call
bundles. And we are giving members with Gold Status the opportunity to receive a free Premium
Smartphone.
We have launched ‘Instant SIMs’ so that when you have finished signing up a new member, they
can start saving money with our Value Mobile tariffs immediately - instead of having to wait for
their SIM card to arrive by post.
And calls to Utility Warehouse mobiles using our Home Phone service are now free of charge for
members with Gold Status. This makes us the only company in the UK to offer free landline calls
to mobiles!
Business Club
We’ve listened to your feedback, and made some massive changes – so Business Club members
can now receive a range of services and benefits similar to the residential Club.
Simpler (and bigger) bonuses
We have simplified and improved the way we will calculate and pay Customer Gathering
Bonus (CGB), so that in future you will earn CGB of between £20 and £50 on most of the new
customers you gather. And we have launched a Mobile promotion that could increase your CGB
to over £100 per customer – for a limited period – when you provide our mobile service to every
member of the family!
But being a Distributor is not just about gathering personal customers - it’s about recruitment
too. And the new Team Building Bonus we introduced a few months ago (where you can earn
matching CGB by coaching new team members on how to gather their first few customers) is
already having a massive impact on activity levels and incomes throughout the business.
Share Option Promotion – a final chance to take part
Lastly, in response to feedback we have received from many of you who, for whatever reason,
are not on track for the Share Option Promotion we announced at the start of January, we are
giving everyone a final chance to receive some share options later this year.
This really is the most valuable promotion we have ever launched, and for those prepared to
invest consistent time and effort over the months and years ahead in building their business, the
returns could be truly unbelievable.
